Dueling Piano Kings are a unique entertainment experience unlike any other out there. We specialize in providing customized piano and sing-a-long performances that cater specifically to your audience and event, while performing your song requests.

Quick and easy setup.

While bands may require 3-4 hours to set up, we’re ready to go in just 60 minutes! We bring everything to you and your venue. Pianos, sound reinforcement, lights, request forms and pencils. All you need to do is supply a 1-2 wall plugs and an audience!

Experienced.

Our primary duelers, Pat McGannon and Craig Learmont, have nearly a century of piano-playing experience between them, and can play anything from classic rock , retro, to the latest Top 40 music!

We played 36 sets of music in 11 days. Not anyone can do this gig. Playing nightly without the safety net of a setlist, changing songs on the fly, improvising, hours of vocal therapy, learning songs on the bench with a phone in your ear, free styling. It’s all in a days work @duelingpianokings. Thanks to @thejessepetersmusic who was absolutely up for anything again this year @calgarystampede Champion Wine Cellar Experience. Thank you to the over 20,000 people who attended our shows these past 11 nights, sang along with us, brought us song requests, and made so many Stampede memories again this year. Thank you to this amazing venue team who made it easy for us to perform here and took great care of us. These were our last local Calgary shows until the fall. Meet your Dueling Piano Kings players performing at Calgary Stampede Champion Wine Cellar Experience Thursday July 2 to Sunday July 13: Pat McGannon, performing July 2 to July 12 at the Champion Wine Cellar Experience, has over five decades of piano-playing experience. He has performed all over the world including events for Bill Clinton, Tom Hanks, and the late Glenn Frey of The Eagles. He’s performed with Dueling Piano Kings at the Scotiabank Saddledome for several Calgary Flames games, many Calgary Roughnecks Games, and four times at McMahon Stadium for Calgary Stampeders games in front of over 25,000 people. He has performed all over North America, and Europe and is “big in Japan”! He also celebrated his 1000 dueling pianos show in July 2024 at the Champion Wine Cellar! Combine legendary piano skills, immaculate vocals, and a finely tuned instinct for connecting with audiences and you get Calgary-based entertainer, artist and DJ, Jesse Peters. He is performing July 2 to July 9, and July 12 at the Champion Wine Cellar Experience. He’s performed all over the world, including stops in New York City, a six city tour in China and has graced the stage of the legendary Calgary Stampede Grandstand show. “The best part of being a performer is that human connection” says Peters, “I love how the show can change depending on who’s in the room.” Jesse Dollimont, performing on Friday July 10 and Saturday July 11 at the Champion Wine Cellar Experience, is a multi-instrumentalist, singer and songwriter from Treaty 7 Territory. She has been performing since she could speak - and her broad musical interests and endeavours have given her the opportunity to perform on stages and in studios across the continent. Jesse has been a featured performer at The Red Piano (Edmonton, AB) as well as Aussie Rules Piano Bar (Calgary, AB), and has been dueling at the piano now for over a decade. When she isn’t performing, Jesse works in the Calgary area as a board-certified music therapist.
